With our exceptional location and our awareness of the climate and environmental issues of our time, we want to minimize our personal and professional ecological impact to the best of our ability. This list is just a start, and may be expanded in the future.
- No use of chemicals for outdoor maintenance
- Minimal watering with well water
- Maintaining unmowed or mown areas to support ecosystems
- Exclusive use of organic cleaning products and detergents (also supplied during stays)
- Encouraging plastic reduction (bulk shopping, packaging-free products and loan of water bottles for artists)
- Selective sorting
- Compost food waste from the table and green waste from the garden.
- Maximum organic and local consumption (including in the choice of our catering partners and meal orders)
- Reduced meat consumption: we are long-standing vegetarians and our meal providers are familiar with all diets.
