Studio des Bruères is a residential recording and mixing studio located near Poitiers. We welcome artists to produce their albums and recordings in a natural setting conducive to inspiration and entirely dedicated to creation.
the story
The studio has been in existence since 2012 thanks to the energy of a passionate individual, Jean-Christian Maas, who was able, through his exacting standards, to create a place frequented by high-caliber musicians from its very beginnings. The handover took place in 2022, and Studio des Bruères is now in our hands: Tony Paeleman (musician, producer, and sound engineer at the studio since 2014) and Sonia Cat-Berro Paeleman (musician). Accustomed to being at the heart of creation and artistic life ourselves, it is important to us to offer the optimal environment—whether technical, logistical, or human—that allows for a free and focused spirit. Designed by artists for artists with efficiency and professionalism, our space invites exceptional moments that contribute to the success of a project.

The studio boasts top-of-the-range equipment and a wide choice of instruments, including vintage pianos, keyboards and drums.

Staying in comfortable rooms and communal areas means you can live in a quiet, country-style setting, and move from one to the other via unspoilt exteriors.

We provide transfers from the station if you’re coming by train, a car on site free of charge, and a range of meal-planning options. The team will take care of everything, so you can concentrate on checking in.
